Yes structural cost reduction may impact employees! Mike said it well, which means this is a given and will start end this year continue till next. Really, be thankful it will allow payouts and severence (maybe enhanced) to those wanting it, and the same for those that don't after the EOI is announced.

Ok, so we now know we have until 2026 at the latest to find a new job. Intel just laid off around 15k people lost billions and they’re just one of many. If you start applying now, you might find something between now and 2026.
