Thread regarding CDW layoffs

Remember that Stock “award” that Matures Feb 2025?

CDW remembers. There will be another layoff to mitigate losses - especially with the drop in value of the company this week.

"You are just wrong about that grant. The grant that matures in February only gets paid out if NAGI is above a certain threshold, and we are nowhere near that threshold so they will not be paying anything out."

You sure about that? Mine is still showing as getting paid out, now granted it has dropped from what it was. I'm honestly just asking as I'm not sure.

I think the takeaway here is that the company (like every publicly traded company) is out to sc--w its employees while rewarding corruption and incompetence at the top. Stop being loyal. Do your job--nothing extra--and keep looking elsewhere for better opportunities. Not sure how so many people here have been brainwashed into thinking the company cares about you. I've never seen such deep delusion before anywhere I've ever worked. Maybe it's a Shitcago tihng......

The future award was tied to targets - the initial award was tied to staying until Feb 2025.

Wasn’t that award tied to us hitting certain targets?

lol, you’re delusional if you think this isn’t important to CDW leadership. It’s also why the vesting for 401k match su-k. Ask those who have been laid off in that last year about the clawback of 401 k money and accrued sick time (if they were conscientious employees who didn’t use it) - as well as the fact that they pay out severance in a single lump sum so coworkers get slammed at the highest possible withholding rate.

While nobody was motivated by this, the stock expense is below the line. It doesn't impact results and is not a factor in the price or a layoff. Layoffs are above the line. So you are wrong.
