That’s a bit of a stretch. Although I’m glad a lot of people are disgruntled about it. Perhaps you can leave prior to the layoffs. I imagine that’s exactly why the company are doing. Two birds and all.
But hey, if you’re still around and still disgruntled like a child having to wake up to go to school; maybe you can request more travel allowance so that you can buy a roll of bubble wrap for your commute? Perhaps some antidepressants so that you can function normally when you return to society?
Either way I’m sure you id--ts will always find a way to pi-s and moan over useless nonsense like work from home. I won’t disclose too much but in my areas. Most people are even reachable when they’re at home. Probably nestling up to one of the many vices they acquired.
Incidents occurring to and from the worksite do not count against safety stats and don’t impact the VCIP. Follow the money.
Shut up and get back in the office. Do some actual work, and make the company money.
Employees will drive to and from work 18 times over 2 weeks instead of 12. That’s a 50% increase.
Here’s the math:
To OP’s point, that’s a big increase. Additionally, not sure the extra carbon COP employees will pump into the air is mentioned in our sustainability report.
40% by my math
Umm... what travel allowance? I don't get that.
Does the company not pay us all a Travel Allowance? That they did not adjust when we were working 3/5 days a year. Scared to drive, take an uber you entitled brat. A major problem we have with CP is, we have such an entitled workforce. Would I prefer to continue the HOW program-Yes. Do I agree with everything the employer does-no. However, we don't always get what we want. Accept it or resign. I am sure the other side of the fence isn't so green.
Your safety is of zero concern.
It never was.
Hollow, empty words to appease the slack jawed share holders and provide cover should any lawsuit result from an injury.
Got hurt? It’s your fault for not following SPIRIT values.
Get it?
Do you hear that? The world’s smallest violin was playing for you.
