I don't know if this would be interesting to any of you or not, but I do believe the federal employee health benefits plan is a big chunk of Anthem's aka Elevance business. The premiums for 2025, office visit copays, prescriptions etc are jumping up quite a bit for us for 2025. From what I've seen on Reddit plus just informally talking to coworkers, a good number of feds are going to ditch Anthem BCBS. Aetna seems to be a popular choice for what people are migrating to; over $100 less per pay period and lower co-pays, for similar coverage. I'll be making that switch myself; I've had BCBS since I left there. I know every company is trying to make a profit, but dang...especially when I see here how much Gail is making.
I wish all of you still there the best of luck; I've kept tabs on what's going on via this site, plus I still have some friends still working there. And, I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss those AIP checks...
