Thread regarding TIAA (TIAA-CREF) layoffs

CNBC Article: Coffee and T

So I came across an MSN article: Making "Coffee and T" a recurring meeting on her calendar has helped Duckett create a culture where employees feel "heard without judgment," she wrote on LinkedIn. what a bunch of horsesh-t!! Title, “ Fortune 500 CEO 'always' asks her employees this question—Harvard expert says it's great leadership: 'Well done'” I cackled! She’s surrounded by butt kissers. And when she lied about the NCC rep who picked the art in Frisco, she made it sound like she was chummy. He had to wait 45 minutes and was given pretty much a body cavity search to approach her! At least I’m not bitter… I just outsource all my fu--s!

It is patently absurd to think if T or anyone else at this firm - or for that matter any firm in any industry - would get a pass from the US DOJ after having evidence against them to warrant an indictment for money laundering. Case in point, look at the current NYC mayor who just got indicted.

You can disagree with strategic direction made about the direction of the firm and why they are not working that would fall squarely on the CEO. You can even disagree about her messaging or lack of communication with employees, but let us please as a country get beyond immediately resorting to racism when we are peeved by someone who is not a straight white guy.

Lastly, CNBC is literally a corporate mouthpiece for CEOs and execs, and always has been fyi

Media won’t stop drinking the cool aid because she’s propped up by the DEI machine. Sc--w TIAA, our country is going to the gutter with this nonsense. T could get caught red handed with money laundering or fraud, and people still will come to her defense. Don’t question a women person of color unless you want to be labeled racist and anti-feminist.

Ha ha!

TIAA CEO Thasunda Brown Duckett has four words of advice for anyone looking to be a better boss: Talk less, listen more.

Each month Duckett, 51, hosts "jam sessions" with small groups of employees so they can share their ideas, concerns and perspectives with her directly.

What they don’t mention in the article is that when you are invited to an infamous ‘jam session’ you are also invited to a prep call with her secretary to coach you on things to not offend her during the call. That secretary is also present on the jam session to mediate and cut off people and change the subject if they suspect
something will be said to her. I wonder when the articles will actually be fact checked and the media will stop drinking her koolaid.
