You would not have been riff’d for swiping and leaving. If that were the reason, you would have been terminated for cause (no severance).

I’ve never read hybrid policy until yesterday. One thing that struck me was the line that said you can’t just swipe your badge and leave to count towards adherence. Funny my manager told me to just swipe my badge and leave. I got riffed. It was my bad for not treading the policy and just trusting my manager. Then I wonder if this was purposeful on his part to justify my rif. What an a-hole.

Hellevance just acquired another company for $2.7 billion while putting people who live paycheck to paycheck out of work. Looks like the long-term plan is to get out of the health insurance business in case the Feds go to single payer, and shift to being a provider of health care services.

And we MAY be quitting and moving to a new employer that still believes in remote work..... :) Sounds like AIP won't be worth hanging around for.... At least for Government and Commercial employees.

It's another soft layoff. I think we "MAY" be moved to Hybrid 2 soon.
