Thread regarding ConocoPhillips layoffs

Never taking my laptop home ever again. Ever.

If the ELT wants more productivity, they can hire more people.
They’ll never learn anything if they don’t have to deal with the consequences of their own actions.

Productivity is a measure of output/person or output/$ invested. The fact that you think hiring more people will necessarily increase productivity reflects your lack of knowledge on the subject. Perhaps the layoffs should start with you.

Operations are 24/7. Everyone’s primary purpose is to serve and support Operations. Everyone is a “24/7 employee “. Don’t be a snowflake.

No one cares how much you work or don’t work. If you take your laptop home or not. Everyone is subject to layoffs.

@urr+1vfuody4: That is not true at all. We are NOT 24-7 employees.
