Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

AC, SB,GK and especially SK - are digging our graves

Senior leaders in the bank are mismanaging operations by prioritizing short-term cost cuts over long-term employee well-being and organizational stability. They've implemented sweeping job cuts, relocating positions overseas and to low-income states where labor is cheaper. Meanwhile, frontline employees are left facing overwhelming workloads, often in stressful, understaffed conditions. Despite these sacrifices on the employees' part, top executives continue to award themselves hefty raises, signaling a clear disconnect between leadership and the workforce's daily realities. This approach not only damages employee morale but also risks eroding the bank’s culture and customer trust in the pursuit of short-term gains.

Just heard more branch closures are planned for Jan-March 2025. When will this end?

Why the downvotes for true information? Again, the MLs do NOT report to SK. While they may roll up to SK they absolutely do not report to them, they report to the regional execs. A simple employee directory search can confirm this? (Insert eye roll)

This is not a bank you can be proud to say you worked at, or work for! Everyone knows we are the bank that purchased a cr-ppy bank to buy market share. Thus market share was cr-p for both consumer and business accounts. No regulations , no review and now we are closing a majority of the cr-p they called good customers.

CRC reports to Branch Manager reports to District Manager reports to Market Leader (for example Missouri Arkansas) reports to Regional Executive (Eastern Region) reports to Sekou. That is the food chain.

Check your facts on who he manages, who do you think ML report to? SK! This post is correct

SK doesn’t manage the market leaders, he manages the regional execs and is responsible for all of branch and small business banking.

DO spins the medical field as the next big bo-m and it’s been a flop. Why anyone wants to work for him is beyond reason.

Digging graves and shoving employees in no doubt!
Pure greed. Investor day questions were a joke. Promises made and now the aftermath. Layoffs will continue. Departments wiped out. It’s not the end.

Wish SB would stop talking about things that he says we continue to do. He needs to address the ugly red elephant in the room! The mass layoffs , the let’s sweeping under the rug BS they keep making us listen to. Morale is horrible and they can’t see two feet in front of their blind a-s

What exactly is SK’s job? Besides managing all market leaders. Besides not having a clue what he is doing. Why did the bank hire him. Who the f knows

Was SK bragging about his house in the Hamptons? He’s not going to last. There is a reason he reports directly to GK, to keep him on a tight leash. He’s going to continue to under deliver and will be replaced. And he knows this. Polish that resume SK, they’ve already begun searching for your replacement.

SK would continue hiring if Timmy red shoes was still his boss. Now that GK and Arijit are in the picture, he’s being forced to slash headcount.

This is just a sad, pathetic bank now. Working for a bunch of leaders that you can’t respect, why, BECAUSE they DO NOT respect you!

I sincerely hope all those laid off, go to another bank that cares about their employees, because this piece of cr-p bank does not.
They need to stop holding cheerleading calls- it makes me sick how fake everyone is acting. They are horrible actors and everyone can see right through their BS

I’ve noticed a lot of newer employees , all report to SK, and are now posting a lot of new titled jobs. Sad. I’m sure they are bringing on friends to run this bank into the ground seeing how they came from one they were doing the same at.

Don’t even get me started on SK- what a joke he is. A drunk joke. Attended an event with him , non stop drinking and bragging . Made me sick. Now he is bringing on his cronies to high paying jobs.
