This is a long video but provides some interesting thoughts around remote working
https://youtu.be/4LU5D9FQe3I
In particular note the comments about RTO to distract from poor company performance and impact of WFH on people with disabilities and women
When the publicly announced $66mm remodel is complete, we will go back full time in Houston.
Our boss has assured us we can work from home as long as our work gets done and nobody tells HR. We take turns badging the group in and use our login password for Pc access.
nope. WFH will continue
Some BUs will see an announcement Friday.
Where's a revolution when you need it
The Office desk space is exactly the amount the want. Get back to the Office asap!!!!
Not true (yet). Prediction: We will continue on hybrid through 2025. In 2026 or 2027 they will have us go back to offices in San Ramon and Houston at least 4 days week so we can be “ one team” (Eyeroll). They can’t do it before that time as they don’t have the room in San Ramon and Houston until they reach their desired HQ headcount. Enjoy your hybrid work life balance schedule before layoffs and ROM’s for ENGINE disaster going off the tracks.
No. Unless they lease 1600 again, there just isn’t enough room. Would they love us to come back five days a week? Not likely to happen because there is just no place for everyone to sit if they all came in at once.
its been ending
