Is leadership even bothering to do anything to stop our best people from jumping ship? We're seeing a serious brain drain. At this rate, the average time at Allstate will soon be two years. How do those at the top think that's going to work out in the long run?

The CHRO who led that effort is gone, he was a je----f who realized that these “leaders” were as capable as cardboard cutouts of a human but kept them around. 10 years is a long time if it was so bad why leave it that long ?!? Everyone is replaceable!

After 10 years at ANI I had enough inept leadership & being treated like dirt. After yet another reshuffle I ended up with the worst TM - she was an utter joke. I decided that the only option was to leave. I ended up getting a better job with better pay and better leadership - I couldn't be happier, but I doubt the ANI bootlickers even notice I'm gone.
Do they care? They get big bonus checks so I'd submit the answer is a big, fat 'No.'
Look at the multiple rounds of layoffs in the last 10 years. Each one assuring the proletariat that the company was on its way and poised for great things. Has it really made any difference, other than we got rid of a bunch of people for financial reasons? Last year, they let go of some really good people who were high performers but who had the unfortunate circumstance of being too near the top of their salary band. So Allstate handed them their walking papers to get down to a number. Remember the managers (because Allstate doesn't have actual leaders) assuring us that you'd flattened the organization and were now poised for growth? Well, they just flattened the organization again this year....twice. And ain't it odd how the usual suspects-the middle managers who never really do or think any differently or take any risks but have a managed to brown nose their way into tenure so they can pass the accountability for it on to others via layoffs-never land in the RIF cross hairs? They just keep building their little political fiefdoms for themselves and their toadies, who also duck accountability. Management is calling them influencers this year.
No, management doesn't care. And in two years, you'll be having this discussion again if you're still here.
