I do not see any possible impact on our jobs in Angola at least in the near future.
Yes, we have some made up roles but it seems pretty stable here.

Can not understand why the company keeps Block 0 area A given all the other company asset sales. Seems the only future for Chevron in Angola is gas

How about the current FE manager at SASBU? She only talks about technology... lol! Welcome to the real world! Who picks these losers? No wonder we are losing. What do you expect with these kind of managers?
I know the one manager you are talking about. J S was a typycal DEI FL chosen one hereelf. She delivered nothing meaningful her self. She had a short stint here at JSM and she was an entitled disaster. No wonder she will groom and promote her likes. This place is a disaster.
But still Angola is safe. The locals have not paid much attention there yet.
Angola is the land of the uselss. I know a giy who used to work at TCO and all what hr did wss to go to the gym, work on his PMP and MBA at company time but volunter and attend every single woman Network event. He delivered nothing meaningful there but he was one of the close "friends" of the FE manager in Angolq lla who now became the FE manager at TCO. She is one of the chosen one and now he is one. He got triple promotion in TCO delivering nothing and she created for him one of this made up useless positoons in Angola.
I know few people in the same boat. These are the ones that company cater for nowadays. No resilts but jist connect with the right people and attebd the right events and you will be taken care of.
What is concerning more than the made up jobs is the corruption of the expat population. The disturbing realities of misapporpriation of underage youth is the tip of the iceberg. I guess MW can turn a blind eye to the chevron way values to extract a profit. Surely these corrupt individuals will be safe.
