Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Clinton status

How many people are still there?
Any rumors about the potential buyers of the land?

Any hipos still in Clinton? They all should flee to Houston by now.
Clinton site seems like a nursery made of managers, technicians, NREs, REs, and contractors

Agree with @ivs+1vX1Vq0S

The way decommissioning is discussed at recent safety forums as "most equipment will be abandoned in place" leads me to believe the end is coming sooner than later.

Really has become a very sad place, population shrinks monthly, looks like an assisted living facility with elderly Technicians, longing for the “package” all the Technical folks worth transferring have left they don’t want any part of The Gulf Coast. 750 beautiful acres will be transformed into endless Warehouses. Clarence wouldn’t believe his eyes……😢😢 it was a good run.

Severance keep dreaming. quote from CEO "why would we pay employees to leave when we can just force them out".

We’re all still here. Cruising on easy street. Hour plus lunches, extended breaks, coming in late and leaving early. Best time I’ve had here yet.
