Any updated case management and utilization management going over to Caroline global solutions in the Philippines??! What a hot mess, if they do offshore those two departments. I feel bad for our providers and members

They are dwindling away the staff in the US. Slowly. Maybe this investigation will cause a change. Probably not. Right now they have non-clinical and clinical people moving over to Carelon as of January. I know another department already moved. They have still kept them around for now.
Some of our larger clients have provisions in their contracts for call center and medical claims people to on shore or even the state of their corporate headquarters. Might keep a few onshore employees’ jobs safe for a while.
What a disgrace.
Also, if you go on the job board, they have open positions for auditors and other departments in the Philippines and Puerto Rico.
I’m wondering, how long will it take until pretty much all the nurses, auditors and therapist in the US get laid off and everything just done offshore.
They already have nurses reviewing over there.
