Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

This is becoming so tiring

Can we go back to the time when our work was our top priority, instead of constantly worrying about everything happening at Intel that could threaten our jobs? From poor results to layoffs, CEO issues, and countless other challenges, I’m finding it hard to focus on my work these days.

Recently I’ve noticed even 1st level managers. have become dysfunctional. It’s not just at the top. The dysfunction has trickled down to the bottom. I can’t get ant work done because my managers are fighting turf wars and having useless meetings. But no decisions are getting made.

This place has ALWAYS been extremely toxic. If you are just realizing it now then there is something wrong with you.

That would be long before 2016 layoffs even.

Your inner voice is trying to warn you that the situation is a risk to your well being... Ignorant it at your own risk.

When was work ever a top priority? Maybe the first couple of years as a RCG when you dont know better. After that Intel has always been all about politics, bootlicking and butt kissing. Real work was never a priority, and that is why we are where we are.

You'll have to leave Intel for that luxury. At least for the foreseeable future.
