Elevance/Anthem/Carelon etc! What do you think?
They praise their offshore while we onshore sit and listen. It’s so bizarre. 20 plus years and been through 3 RIFS, but made it back. No more! It’s cruel, callous, and sinister. Yes, it’s business BUT I have been around long enough to remember a time when we were genuinely valued.

With all the offshoring to the Philippines, this company is no loner an American company. You call in and can’t even understand the people on the other line
Nothing will happen to Sr Directors, Staff VPs, VPs, And executives including board members
They remain lucky with hefty salary, bonuses and stock options and everything else.
Director I and below are the unfortunate ones who will be riffed before March or converted or rebadged into Deloitte and get no benefits, no bonuses and no raises by March 2025
Used to replace leadership when failures happen. Now leadership gets a chance to gut the workforce for their failure and then the leader is replaced. Problem is that the next leader up is now setup to fail.
The stock is tanking and the exec’s are going to be on the chopping block soon enough. No one is safe from the sacred stock price. They will cut everything they can on their way down.
The stock price is way down. The ratings are sell or hold. It's a grim future for this global company. All they can do is send more jobs offshore and rebadge the onshore jobs. Wait until the security breach comes out.
What are they praising that they riffed a lot of people here in the states!! For cheaper labor. Big merry Xmas to them
Leadership is praising themselves. Doesn’t matter if it was the d-mbest decision ever, they will lean in to save face and look 🤩
We all know better
I had to turn it off because it was making me so sick to my stomach. I am hoping things will change.
Bs! Why praise the offshore people! For what replacing our formal co workers who got replaced with people in the Philippines
It’s definitely crazy to see the downfall of this place. I think back to what it was like 10+ years ago and it’s a complete 180.
Agreed, OP. It’s business but it doesn’t need to be so cold and cruel. We’re all slaves to the stock price.
