WFH has been the only option for me. I am far away from any hubs, and would be able to come to the office daily only if I fly. I have started working remotely years before Covid, and that’s always been a great way for me to do a meaningful and decently paid job. I’ll be sc--wed if the full RTO mandate is implemented.

Bye Felicia. You will not be missed.
"Talent will be able to find another job."
Yes. I think Dell is aware of this. No talent stays at Dell. Way better opp and salary elsewhere. That's not even debatable.
The fact they have been liquidating buildings and land should tell you all you need to know: no growth is expected.
“ Not where I live. Illegal to do this without severance thanks to worker protection laws.
People should look into this but YMMV.”
Unfortunately, people in this country keep voting for the MFs who are he-l-bent on making sure we never have these protections.
“ You leaving is what they are counting on.”
It’s really a Dell loss. Talent will be able to find another job. And, talent will not go back nor will they have a high recommendation to give on their previous company.
What was that eNPS score again this year? Just wait until next year.
Clearly, no one cares because this is not how you treat employees. Yet, those who can get out whether by choice or default to this decision will still be BETTER off. It’s time to move on. Is this really what you want to continue to endure month after month? Who cares if they want you to leave. Have some respect for yourself.

Folks left there that get hit for not RTO will be fired for cause and not eligible for severance too. Merry Christmas!

It’s already implemented for some orgs. It will come to others. Hopefully you are pursuing other opportunities.
