Bingo! Humility. Keep your ears open and your mouth closed. Learn. Recognize Intel's situation and patiently, but methodically make progress. This requires disciplined but inspiring management. The American workforce needs to toughen up
Morris Chang quietly built an empire. They were a foundry from day one and were able to build their business in Intel's shadow for years. They watched the industry and learned. This is what Intel needs to do. The current obsession with leading the industry again is what is guarantying that Intel won't have it again at least no time soon. A lot of self reflection is needed to figure out what is going wrong and why no one wants to work with Intel. Try stabilizing and then delivery consistently on the products you do produce and get a new CEO that can shut the F up...
Without accountability “leadership” is indifferent to outcomes
Why Gelsinger was wrong for Intel:

I have great reverence for Intel and its extraordinary history, and I would never count them out (the resurrection of a clinically-dead AMD shows what is possible!), but I also won’t be integrating with any of their technology until their acute cultural issues are addressed. With regard to these cultural issues (and his other strengths aside), Pat Gelsinger was indisputably wrong for Intel.
Thank You Intel Board for the mess you are responsible for. You should vote to dissolve yourself.
intel is so d-mb. it's not lost on the smarter ones.
Old man Morris is still savage. "Discourteous Pat" dissed TSMC being in a dangerous place while investing billions in Intel Israel. Then TSMC removed the 40% discount on the Lunar Lake chips, making Intel's only recent success unprofitable for each chip shipped. For all the praise heaped on Pat's technical prowess, his business and negotiation skills are Shiite.
It was Pat that spreads rumors about geopolitical confrontation can interrupt the production in Taiwan while lobbying for major share of government funding for Intel manufacturing. TSMC walked while Pat was busy talking. We should be thankful that Morris gives his honest opinion at this critical juncture for Intel. He can just keep his mouth shut and watch Intel fall.
No CEO can save Intel. There is only one person in the whole world who can actually save Intel and that is Xi Jinping.. or rather his itchy fingers on that big red button at his desk.
True, the #1 foundry does not think Intel should try to compete.
I wonder if he shed a crocodile tear as he was speaking?
