How is AI affecting your job. Will this cause more layoffs?

It’s used to grade jobs performed now by tech, it will also be used to fire techs that fail to comply with what AI wants. They think every house and every job is the same so they’ll be really disappointed when the numbers don’t add up.
The only thing this cr-p company can do that will bolster a positive change is to get rid of most all of the management. They seem to be making all these bs calls that help nothing! If I have to see another smart sheet or do or one more useless task I’m probably gonna put in my notice so that’s one less layoff they have to write up!
Windstream does not need AI to give it another reason for more layoffs.
AI won’t make any difference to this company because it has no interest in efficiencies, no interest in improving a product, no interest in improving customer experience, and most people with any kind of drive that are “working “ here, are working for another company or side thing and collecting both checks. Hard to predict how they’re going to churn the existing customer base again in 2025.
Have you tried to use the useless tool WinGPT? Freaking useless. Can't do something as simple as provide an address for employees or anything with a CLLI code. Wasted money on pet projects.
