Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Pat on Twitter

Every Thursday I do a 24 hour prayer and fasting day . This week I'd invite you to join me in praying and fasting for the 100K Intel employees as they navigate this difficult period. Intel and its team is of seminal importance to the future of the industry and US.

Thoughts and prayers - the universal elixir for feeling better about yourself for doing absolutely nothing.

He is just a gross attention wh--e ...he seriously needs to stop talking.
Matthew 6:5-8: "When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men ... but when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your father who is unseen".

Another lie or someone with metal illness to pray or fast 24 hours. I need to sleep at least 1 or two hours without coffee.

He wants prayers that they don't come after him for destroying their futures.

Maybe share some of your wealth with those ex employees less fortunate? Those of us who were expecting that last QPB that you sc3w3d us out of. My severance next to yours is like an invisible penny floating in a giant pool of thousand dollar bills.

Is Intel still having a holiday lunch for all employees or has this been dropped as part of the cost cutting like the off and on coffee HR disaster.

If prayers is all that’s left… then Intel is really in deep trouble! He knows what’s coming, they will bring a new CEO to restructure the company and layoff 50% of the staff.

God takes a time off when INTC employees send in their prayers

It could just be confirming that we're going to hire the slasher who left the board recently. If so we are individually fkd.
So yeah praying probably not a bad idea since our new leaders are a cro CFO and a marketing exec.
Set up to slash.

He may feel deep down in his heart the guilt of ruining Intel and lives employees with over 230 million dollars worth compensation that he got during his four-year tenure. This guilt and shame will grow in his mind no matter what happens to Intel in the future. I feel the best thing for him to do is to return the money and volunteer to help Intel back on its feet. This will realistically help Intel more than any kind of fasting and praying. It will also bring him the peace of mind that he desperately needs.

I am too and agree with you. I don’t like how coops our religion for his business needs. It feels wrong and dirty. I really wish he would keep the two seperate

I am a Christian and I do not understand Pat.

He should be fasting and praying for the Kingdom of Heaven and for his employees to come to salvation by the saving grace of the Lord Jesus.

It seems that Pat's prayers are for INTEL to be saved from bankruptcy ! And clearly God is NOT with INTEL.

I don't need to fast this week let alone this entire month. Already made a seminal #2 contribution thanks to RA3 cafeteria. WARNING: stay away from the beyond picadillo in the cafeteria. It certainly purged my system out similar to a 30 day fast.

Seminal? If you’re praying to God, I don’t think God is concerned with Intel—or any company, for that matter. As a believer, I think His focus is on changing people’s hearts, not on whether a company succeeds or fails. Your prayers should have been consistent while you were here, and leaving shouldn’t have changed that at all, but…
