Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

How long has it been since the last major layoff?

I'm starting to worry we are in the "calm before the storm" period.

OP is a bot on the website that posts on all the forums here. We dont do layoffs, we just make it so everyone quits.

Rest my case on all you intelligent types being smarter than us regular folk. The dude who got caught in Altoona was intelligent? Nope! Like many others, don't confuse education with intelligence. Not all who are educated are intelligent. Mic drop! Case proved.

Gotta layoff to support those expensive jets and executive bonuses.

  1. ...Govt downsize and SF in for downsize too. If SMs are coming into office, it should and will eventually happen to the rest. Just a matter of time. If you think they will hurt because you quit, youre nuts.

If you are vested in the pension you cannot lose it even if you are "sold" off. It is still there, just not growing anymore.

Of course there have never been layoffs.

Of course the 1000 IT people who were "sold" to HCL, who lost their pensions and who were told by HCL to train their offshore replacements can't be considered being laid off.

I guess they can pretend to still be accruing that pension. They can play in the puddle in front of their house and pretend it is the State Farm Park pool.

Nobody gets layed off at State Farm.
