Not surprised if this happens. I actually thought this was the plan when they brought in old Chucky boy; JC would eventually become CEO and Chucky would remain as sole COO. Maybe that was the plan (I really didn't see JC willfully agreeing to be Co-COO for an extended period of time). Maybe Chucky didn't agree with the MD/JC vision or he wasn't cutting the mustard
If JC is in charge, layoffs will need to accelerate to stay profitable till the jet crashes….

Enjoy his life??? What's he not enjoying now? He's so rich he always enjoys his life while his employees suffer from bad designs he is making. He enjoys his life just fine regardless what he does woth this sh-t hole of a company.
Like what Joe Tucci did for EMC, Jeff will be name CEO, then at some point, then entire company will be merged/sold or whatever to some other company. Two options, Broadcom or Nvidia. This way Michael won't be at the helm when this happens. I also think he will back down from the Chairman position as well, so he won't have a vote in this historical event. It's time for Michael to enjoy his life and if it wasn't for his name on the building, this would have happened sooner.

Both are pretty terrible. They need to rip and replace entirely. I’d say they all the way down to the L4 level. They’re just stuck. Dell is stuck.
