These comments are a new level of ugly. I don't still work in Channel Support, but I did and I can tell you, it's the hardest I've ever worked. Anyone still in Channel Support would be happy to explain what they do, I'm sure. Just ask.
Sounds like channel support is as useless as a bunch of managers if you ask me! Seems like all the managers do is makeup bs charts for us to fill out so they can read them and critique and criticize the lower people so they can justify the need for their position! A lot of fat needs to be trimmed starting at the top!

Playing smoke and mirrors games like 1/2 of the non customer facing jobs.Pretending to be working 40 hours a week but are really working 20. Don’t be fooled by teams statuses though as they are on their cell phones on teams pretending to be at work. Some show away most of the week telling you right there they are not working on a computer. What office job can work solely on a cell phone? None that is needed. There is still plenty of fat that could be cut…

I love how the same people always rush to post kudos on Stream. Same people always.
The support on our fraudulent orders creating new orders in DCRIS bypassing salesforce just switching from pots to dry loop and create the wonderful contests we can win for a trip or other goodies to sleep around and drink.
They are responsible for the likes on stream after a manager post.
My channel partner girl used to make my coffee for me. Before Covid forced us home. I think they also would grab stuff off the printer for people. Some would hand out free candy and those big number 1 finger things.

During my tenure selling for Windstream CSMB, Channel Support served as our Marketing team, Sales Support and yes, travel help and contest trackers.
I sold record levels of DSL for almost 90 months! Channel Support tracked my orders and always recognized me for selling all those POTS and DSL!

They track contests across Kinetic and they plan all the trips for Kinetic awards trips. Probably the most talented and vital part of Windstream.
Support shouldn’t be used in the same sentence as Kinetic
