Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

Why are layoff posts always so vague

Seriously why can't people that make all these layoff posts actually post an actual department and an actual area? Like new York- sales 50 affected

Private company and does not have to report. While it used to, it does seem now that all info is silenced. It's even hard to find how many UC & CC seats they have now. It seems all that data is no longer online. That is odd, where did it go? 81

It’s because none of these pikers have any real information - it’s the view of the CC space over here.

A once amazing Northern Telecom/Nortel to this!!!! Avaya is unorganized & top heavy! Engineers with 15-20+ years who specialize in their equipment treated like this…good bye Avaya & good riddance! Should have invested more in technology & employees & less into VP’s that helped crush this company! A.M got a great payday as he BS’d us about this becoming a destination place to work. And new CEO’s/VP’s just as bad!

b/c majority of the posts have been incredible accurate and Avaya pressures this site to remove posts. Vague is how to keep from being deleted

So a dying company lays you off and your afraid they can do something about it? What are they going to do? Black ball you since they are so highly respected in the telecommunications / uc community lol

Likely because giving details like that turns it into a breach of contract. And makes it alot easier to find the source of the leak.
