It’s a completely different culture than it used to be. We’ve lost the old identity and spirit. Not saying it was perfect - the nepotism at WCG ran rampant. It happens within Centene but WellCare was notorious for promoting based on popularity.
Florida WellCare was awesome until Centene acquired WellCare. So many good people lost jobs to inadequate dummies PLs from Centene puppets, buddies and lack true experience.
The Phoenix office was disaster for the 3 years I worked there in a claims adjacent department.
