Thread regarding CDW layoffs

About suing CDW....

To the person who keeps posting stuff about the Prinz law firm in threads...

Get the data on the ages of those who have been laid off in the most recent cycles. Clear age discrimination at play - nearly all are 40+. Of course, they all had to sign waivers and releases to get their severance pay... but if you have someone who doesn't need the severance to survive, the evidence to make a prima facie case is there.

It might also be worthwhile for someone to make a tip to the federal EEOC. That costs nothing and if you're currently an employee, you'd get whistleblower protection status.

@7bei lol, laying someone off because their salary is higher is precisely why age discrimination laws exist.

It's not age per se; it's their salaries, which are typically higher for older peoples.

I know of several who were late 50s and early 60s who were let go by CDW. Our department lost a lot of experience and has been unable to recover, as the overall company results show.
