Gail use to be the CEO of United Healthcare.
Time for the US version of the French revolution to begin, make all executive leaders live like the rest of us of us for a year. Make them live paycheck to paycheck and give them some of the medical debt they put the rest of us and see how they survive.
PhD here. How is this more morally reprehensible than the broader impact that CEOs like this have had on employees and consumers in the name of earnings per share? While this CEO didn't pull the trigger, his decisions have sc--wed people to the degree of desperation that self-harm becomes a consideration. CEOs hide behind the expectation of social compliance but wars have started over less than what they are doing. I am sorry he lost his life. I am equally sorry for the thousands of peoples lives his decisions impacted so very negatively. Maybe this will be a wakeup call to other CEOs to be better.

What does a college or university degree have to do with any of these comments? Anyone can get a degree these days. Perhaps you are referring to an advanced degree, from an ivy league.

Heard he was also big on acquisitions/offshore mergers for the company. He just finished a big investor meeting at the NY Hilton before he got shot.
They are a bunch that embezzled security Investments. Like the company's bankrupt and didn't know it kind of thingy it was in the news a while back that they had been found out. I'm not shocked that the police say it was a targeted action.
