I just noticed my SSN was exposed by TIAA and found that they have exposed data of 2.4 million customers. Why is this not reported on the tiaa website? Here is the link to the news

This happened with a 3rd party vendor in 2023...old news...
TIAA did not have the data breach. The breach came through software used by a third party vendor for TIAA; and many other organizations. You can do a little research on it, starting here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2023_MOVEit_data_breach. You can see much it's much more widespread than just TIAA customers.
If you actually read the article TIAA wasn't breached "This is neither a new incident nor a security breach of TIAA systems." That being said, TIAA did send out letters to all participants.
