Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

2nd December Pay Raises all round?

Today is the day we find out what Raul & HR have been doing for all those long on the salary review.
Has it actually addressed any of the actual issues or did they just go, here's a small budget, divide it amongst your staff, official advice is 1-2%.
We'll soon find out, good luck everyone.

Speaking to a friend who is a manager, not mine, they are not looking forward to today, so I'm guessing it's the 1% solution

4 percent. Band 1 rated 1 boss told me 1/3 of team got something. 2/3 did not including all new hires. Was told he had very little leverage o. Amount or to whom. Gonna be a lot of pi---d off high rated employees especially when dummy's raise could have paid for 25k more to get what I got...gotta love how tone deaf they are

4% here, only other person I know results for : 2%

I left DXC in March. I have earned 63% more in base and bonus by joining another company. My base at DXC was ok. Also I work for a company now that cares about people and rewards effort.

Suggestion is that people are getting £0 - £1500 ish. The less you earn the more the percentage on that basis. Managers can't / won't pick favourites. Everyone in the team getting the same amount. Which basically means regardless how much effort you put in DXC put two fingers up to that and just split the money equally. Expected continued lack of effort, and a general work your hours, work to rule. All within the realms of being professional of course.

There are many things wrong in DXC but at least the time table for raises was shared
3 - 13th managers tell staff,
14-24th it appears in Workday, any raises effective from 1st Dec.

For the person who thinks it's a fix, what segment you in? What segment was the person who got 5% in? If you're both in the same band and you're in segment 3 or 4 and they are in 1, then the only surprise is why you are surprised. That's the way salary bands work, always have done.

"Snr. Manager"

You get yours next year and everyone else doesn't... Sounds like you didn't get the memo

Snr. Manager, therefore worthless to business it seems. 0% despite 3 consecutive top ratings.

I said on here before that the amount will be the same for everyone, the percentage difference is just down to how much you earn... Hence it's 1-5%

If you want to compare notes, write how much it was in currency...

Got absolutely nothing, the manager is bent. Others got up to 5%. Usual delivery manipulations, giving to chosen friends.

Unless they are updating Workday in batches throughout the day, I did not receive a raise.

Insults all round. No matter how useless you are I'm hearing most people got something. It's all just pocket money £500 here £1000 there. It won't convince anyone to stay, and it won't convince any of the quiet quitters to do a bit more. Certainly if you average it out since last rise, compare to inflation, and see how much the client rate card is increased by year on year.

I guess "decent" is subjective... but I hope you've been rewarded!

3-4% seems to be in keeping with rumours that have been circling for a while.
