Sued for what? Go to jail for what? PG and the board have been transparent about their plans and goals all along. They may not have shared the progress and success of those plans completely but it certainly was not a secret. I doubt that they did anything legally wrong. Just plain old bad management decisions over and over again.

Intel is never going to be the company that it used to be so move on.

Damage to Intel was done long time ago. Start with Craig Barrett and onwards down till recently. One can enlist the inefficiencies, complacency of x86 being the single most architectural achievement, manufacturing process missteps, acquisitions wasted and so on. One can enlist all these. The leadership sang in chorus for the different CEOs and Intel miserably failed. The bravado and toxicity was baked in top down. The employee culture of promotions to all highly compensated positions depleted over time. It all worked fine until people were changing PC mantra. With data center and AI it all changed drastically. Intel is where it is not because of the cyclical misfortune, but rather its own making.

Blowing through cash doesn't always bring successful results. The trick is to not just spend but to spend wisely. A hard lesson that Intel hopefully learns soon.

He didn’t hold anyone accountable just like most of the company, people rarely get fired for being useless, they just keep showing up and getting paid.

Pat is nothing but a loser driven by poor understanding of the technology and market demands.

Products drive revenues and profits.
Where they are manufactured is secondary.

The out of control EGO of Pat insisting that Intel does manufacturing itself instead of outsourcing it to TSMC is the downfall of Intel.

Intel lost sight of MAKING THINGS THAT PEOPLE WANT TO BUY. Instead Pat built empty temples to satisfy his ego.
