@143d DAMN. Could you designate some LE towards yourselves? You're hurting the kids coming out of college. Psychos
@143d PERSONALLY SPEAKING, I don't have ford as salaried experience on my LinkedIn. Nothing to smile or be proud about. Was hoping to get to that point, that point never came. I don't reference Ford because why
@143d I personally never put ford on my linkedin for full-time employment out of regret for working there. nothing to be proud about with my experience. Was trying to get to the point where I felt good about putting it up. Never got there
They were walked out with no pension or company cars and told to never come near the site again.
The amount of fraud was in the tens of millions of dollars and that is why there have been no charges filed so far.
That is also why the walked out managers are still referencing their former employer on Linkedin.
Amazing how there is absolutely no shame anymore.
I wonder how they will feel behind bars!
Bunch of lying thieves who will get what is coming them!
Prisoner dilemma ahhh thread
No fordite really cares about this manufactured dialogue except for the criminals trying to catch criminals
Why don’t you look in the rear view mirror and face the crime and damage you committed using unbalanced power before you start righteously swaying the hammer around.
@13b0 ford loves to prosecute criminals that take money and be blind to the ones that make them money!
I heard the former area manager walked out owned an outside company that engine repairs were being routed to. Involved former site manager and replacement site manager.
Heard area manager has a golf course!
Plant electricians working there after shift!
Restaurant and catering involved as well.
Millions upon millions dollars in fraud for a long period of time.
No news on this at all other than the rumor mill.
Hear charges are coming.
Any updates on this?
Just heard that former site manager who moved to Oakville was just axed.
Investigations still ongoing.
Charges coming!
Any new developments? Rumor has it that the site manager filed a lawsuit and got a hefty settlement.
Very quiet at Ford Windsor. Heard there are 6 more people under the microscope. 4 salaried and 2 hourly employees.
Now we know who posted the "can you get rehired.." question recently here.
You know what is insane? This same $hit happened in Germany about 8 years ago. It was all over the German press.
1zjr+1vNSK2oI maybe the cost is so high because of the decisions senior management make did you take that into consideration?
We sincerely need to offshore as much of our production - and supporting roles - as quickly as possible.
There is no other way we will be able to be cost competitive with the foreign brands. The labor in USA and CAN is just too expensive.
You’re talking about Colonial Tool. The site manager and plant managers do not own any part of it. Colonial did however did get alot more work from Ford after a certain ex-colonial tool employee got hired at EEP. Colonial got work that they typically would not usually get. Very suspicious. Someone needs to look at all the PO’s to colonial tool…. And the “doctor” company too
@1kl
No, that is a clear conflict of interest.
If he had the tools and he had the talent, wasn't he saving the company money by sending work to his shop? Unless, they did shoddy work.
I believe the Area Manager owned a Tool & Die shop and was diverting the Ford business to his own shop for years
The Site Manager was probably aware of this and he had to be let go as well
"walked out" is not enough. They need to go to jail when convicted. We work hard every day and you get some few bad apples to make things worse for everyone.
I'm really puzzled how to this fraud lasted so long. We need to look at our internal audit and the frequency to ensure this does not happen again anywhere around the world.
Happened a couple weeks ago, old news now.
@vsd+1vNSK2oI I have been at Ford for years, and IDK what EEP is. So I went to FordSpeak and gather the following:
Executive Evaluation Program
Emergency Evacuation Plan
Essex Engine Plant
So I think is the last one.
Huge company like this one, with so many reorgs and name changes, expecting everyone knows every little acronym, is just silly.
Some people come to this site while considering a job offer from Ford.
So of course they won’t know what EEP is.
If u don’t know what EEP is you don’t belong here.
What is EEP?
Loonie shenanigans!
The scuttlebutt is that the site manager and area managers were walked out with more to come. WTF??
Supposedly it was financial shenanigans but not sure.
