Imperial is way overstaffed and generally, pay levels for the kind of work performed and skill sets required is evidently higher than market. The writing is on the walls. Shape up or ship out.
Brad can talk for 20 minutes and not say anything. So can the other lady who talked about her trips around the world to COP. Why was that worth everyone's time?
No open forums since the last upstream one with Steven Younger. He had the ba--s to comfortably answer any question on anything well, and compassionately too when it was sensitive. He wasn’t afraid, and he also cared. Relic of a bygone age.
Basically there is a huge initiative to push imperial employees into supporting roles for projects outside of Canada (exxon roles). Imperial has way too many people. If you work at imperial you better start to get some mobility

Really was kind of a waste. I was suprised that it was mentioned you can do global roles from anywhere since that contradicts return to office. Although it reinforces jobs going to India.

Agreed. I have a feeling that our DB plan will get cut in the future - just trying to read between the lines here. They said they did benchmarking and other companies dont offer children education benefits so they cut them for us...they will do the same thing with the DB plan
