I learned that my stress over reviews went down dramatically when I stopped thinking the review was about me. It's not about me. The reviews are all made up now, and everyone needs to accept that reality. They are made up and have no bearing on your work effort or you as a person. They are just a tool in CS's layoff toolkit. If your review is satisfactory, you're not on the layoff list.
If your review is "inconsistently meets" or whatever they call it now, then look at what the severance package is worth based on your years of service and decide if you want to start looking for a new job now, or wait until your ticket gets punched.
But life is so much easier when you don't take the company seriously nor let them dictate your worth to you.
I wholeheartedly agree, @1teo+1vLotalv. I’m putting this up as a reminder not to take reviews personally. None of us need stress and self-doubt added to already depersonalized and devaluing treatment by WF.
