Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Easy to blame Pat for everything

Personally, I believe the vision and strategy was good but the execution su-ked badly and that is not only on Pat. Pat was surrounded by a bunch of id--ts and that includes Dave and Michelle as well, especially Dave.

His mangling of the TSCM relationship and repeated overstatement of what Intel could deliver in products and foundry is more than enough cause for termination.

Rule #1: Don't lie to customers.

I have seen Dave and Michelle first hand. They are very weak leaders……they are part of the big problem Pat had in entrusting them to lead……both reached the Peter Principle years ago. Funny thing is we thought Dave was going to be fired months ago and we were not sure if Michelle was coming back from sabbatical lol. Word is that they will help facilitate the transition when Intel is acquired in a few months.

Who to blame now after he is gone?

Pat left Intel employees with nothing. No retirement, no pay raises and no jobs.
