@lsk Better to run it at a slight loss then under-utilize the asset and show zero revenue and thus a bigger loss. Intel needs some advance node customer, no matter the cost, otherwise turn off the lights and sell the tools to TSMC.

What makes you think a "Buyer" of the Product division would need any Intel employees at all? Just give un the product design portfolios and shut it all down.

Why would Apple risk it?
It defies logic.
Tim Cook is an operational genius. He’s not going to do this.

Let some else take the risk and only use it once all the bugs are worked out.

Can you imagine Apple missing an iPhone release because of some id--ts at Intel?
