Thread regarding AIG (American Intl Group Inc.) layoffs

Have things improved at all in the past year?

I left in January, and I just got an offer to return. It's a good offer, but I'm hesitant to accept it if the place is still as toxic as it was when I left.

Why would you want to go backwards! Keep moving forward.

The company is literally starting to fall apart... They can't increase revenues, but they have finished to sell what they could sell (the only parts that actually made a profit), and now the only thing they can think of is firing people and transferring everything to the accenture's monkeys, causing the remaining employees to rework everything 2 times.
Moreover they are stopping wfh policies so finding new hires is becoming harder and harder (also the former employees contribuite in telling everyone what a sh1tshow the company is). Latelt I have seen many coming back and then parting again after a few months, AIG is considered Just a cow to milk in case of needs ..having said alla that, yes sure, why not, come back!!

Don’t come back it’s a disaster right now you will probably get laid off in the next round.

I know the answer is probably no, but the offer is good enough that I had to ask.
