Going round in circles

The clients have us running around in circles, chasing ever changing proprities and pointless paperwork. Nothing is getting done! I don't believe they actually want DXC to do anything because it's an easy way to exit the contracts.

I think DXC would do better if it just body shopped staff to some of these organisations. Then charge people out, and just take it's cut. Let them do the management. If they want the people and they have them sitting about then they only have themselves to blame. DXC project management and process only get in the way. The simplest of things are estimated at days of effort and end up taking weeks because nobody else cares. I have given up trying to get a pay rise, or actually deliver anything. Every so often I remind them something was requested months back. And then we have to have another meeting about it, and send the email again. This is no way to run an IT organisation. You'd be better off with bits of paper. At least people could see the pile of paper and just work through it!!

If you BILL them for the work instead of giving it away for free, then things will change. I used to be on an account and whenever someone asked for stuff we did it, instead of reporting it up the chain so it can be billed

BAE is one such account, where staff are being sent off for an urgent long wait. Often by DXC managers. No surprise that account has been lost. DXC had it's chance and failed. Time to give someone else a go.

Meanwhile DXC is charging us out at ever increasing rates billing hours at top rate to make simple changes. Who's the fool around here, other than DXC staff for accepting the 0% pay rise, while DXC makes more and more out of less and less staff achieving practically nothing. Regardless how long they claim to be logged in every day.
