And the answer is - The internet on an Emirates A380 was provided by SITA (a former service partner of Inmarsat). However, SITA got out of the airline connectivity business citing “a lack of profit”.
All the SITA aircraft including Emirates A380s should transition to Viasat next year, when SITA discontinues service.
Oh, except the J@mmy & J@son Show has laid off much of the team was slotted to work those transition projects. And for good measure refused to make any of the budgeted hires.
Looks like Maverick & Attatick will transition all those 100s of planes on their own. Good work, guys.
Oh, and the world is watching.
