Departments are already struggling to meet SLA's and are incurring fines.
Now the Essex Christmas party has been cancelled without any formal acknowledgement. Some managers have been quietly passing down the message.
Is it because they don't want all the laid off people attending and causing problems?

We haven’t had a Christmas party since 2019. Knowing this place, zero thought went into who might attend and it was just another line item to eliminate out of the budget.
