First of all I would like to say that the G700 program is a couple millions over budget, overtime is stopping starting 2025 for completions engineering and remote work is off the charts unless it’s an emergency for family or health. There used to be 11 design teams 1-4 is in Mex doing G500/G600. Then you had 5-11 doing G700s we just lost a team and they were sent to other design teams not riffed, a couple contractors have been turned into direct or their contract not renewed. The whole thing is a mess, the design teams cannot for the love of god start working as one, each team has their own way of doing things and everyone thinks they’re on the right path. Works is starting to slow down and I can see some people being let go, not a hater but I’m just being honest some people are doing absolutely nothing in their desks…. But anyway that’s just my opinion.

To be fair, I’m an American and I’m one of the very few ones that actually does any work. Most of the Americans do sh-t in their desk acting like they have some sort of privilege. Most of the people for Mexicali are actually putting in the work (I only know a handful that are not worth it tho), just look at the baseline team not doing any work and playing around their desks all day. There are people doing their absolute minimum and don’t even care about anything.
Gulfstream has a history of keeping people on visas and letting go US citizens. Their past layoffs give a clear picture. Hopefully with new leader in office, Gulfstream will stop sending work overseas.
Gulfstream is hiring more people from Mexicali bringing them on Visas and sponsoring them with Green cards. Whereas legit citizens are letting go and not getting their contracts renewed. Let’s see during next lay-offs how many non-immigrants loose there job. Citizens should report to USCIS regarding this fraud.
