I’m too old to look for another job or to switch careers. I now have to wait it out, and I am hoping for an offer that would allow me to retire earlier. If you are younger, don’t tie your professional life to this company, nor the insurance industry in general if you can help it. Stay for a couple of years if you must, improve your resume, and then run for better places and career options.

Worker bees taking 2nd jobs to make ends meet and others getting 100k bonuses to smile pretending to care at those doing the lions share of the work. Run when a new opportunity becomes available, we are just pawns ♟️
I’d say Allstate started going downhill 20 years ago. I think in general the Insurance industry is only stable and lucrative for Sr leaders.
I agree. Stay away from banding or insurance. It’s never a stable environment.
100% agree. A Payoff wouldn't retire me but would get me closer. And will definitely be leaving insurance when the day comes.
