In 2017 J.C. said avaya was transitioning to a software only company. Writings been on the wall for a long time. Be greatful that you've had a good paycheck for as long as you hatve had.
The problem isn't people taking advantage of the situation. The problem is a poorly managed company that was Liberal with the truth with its employees. If you don't see that then, perhaps, you are part of the problem.

I'm in my 15th year in Avaya, have done very little last 4 years just a few emails in the morning.. When it ends it ends no regrets so keep drawing the pay check and enjoy the ride while it lasts..
Fully agree. PD will have this shell of a once great company carved up by end of June.
Meanwhile he and his merry band of leeches will drain the corpse dry with bonuses and move on to the next company, just like they always have.
