Just as we all suspected, that survey was yet another dog and pony show. Every time they act like they're going to do something and shocker nothing happens. The classic response "your manager will get with you" is getting old. All those ridiculous emails from upper management about oh please take the survey we really care and want to hear from you, is the biggest crock of sh_t. Theres like 3 main issues that they already know about but clearly don't care. The programs su-k and don't work half the time, quit forcing us on mandatory OT and pager duty and get rid of QJD there's nobody left. Instead they just add more programs and want to put cameras in our trucks because that's the real problem.

we got read the riot act on our responses by our "manager"... borderline HR complaint language...it was laughable.
It's a "employee engagement survey", not a "company feedback survey". It's about YOU and your koolaid intake.
Stop filling it out is the only way to move the needle.
I was laid off in April. I've since found a new position with a new company. I’ve now experienced what a real senior management experience is like with the new company.
They have everyone engaged as 1 team. Lumen just paled in comparison with with what I have now. Just leave Lumen!
It is not as secret as they tell you, especially when not many comment and thus it is easy for your senior mgr or director to figure out it was you who wrote the comment. They are still "Faff-ing around" even though the one SVP left and was then replaced by a guy who doesn't understand statistics.

Where are you at?? Most of us out side folks I&M + cable around here have NOT seen pager duty for (thinking about it)…. Well not since the Level 3 merger, only folks on pager were AP, fiber maint & the 911 techs.. all those folks wanted to be extra special and have special privileges.. special hours.. but AP lost their pager pay last spring.. and we’re non to happy about it, oh well, things were already going wet so didn’t change much..
As for mandatory OT only seen it once or twice in the last year or two..
And QJD is long gone..
at this point my Time sheet accuracy is my only concern it’s my daily widget, out of garage, breaks and meals at the prescribed times.. I only fix the jobs that perfectly in between my breaks and lunches , all the rest gets returned.. at the end of day, and never do ever hear form management about my missed commitments or my no Access…LIFE HERE HAS NEVER BEEN BETTER!!
