Belk is hiring store managers, regional Vice Presidents, and upper management/executives with exaggerated resumes and LinkedIn profiles, some that just completely lie on their resumes. Is Belk doing their due diligence and checking references and work history/background checks? What else could they be lying about? Belk is focusing heavily on those with puffed up LinkedIn profiles with lots of connections, some of those profiles have connections with fake/false profiles, however when they are hired their quality of work/performance show they are unqualified and/or inexperienced.

It’s kinda like make a LinkedIn page with lots of followers, take pictures of yourself giving a thumbs up or number 1 sign, put a suit on, and bo-m you’re a regional. SMH..
Don’t forget hiring friends and relatives which has become a real problem.
