In all it’s corporate wisdom, the company gave out corporate logo branded cookies emblazoned with “Thank You”, in the Elevance branded colors no less, at our PulsePoint today. It’s a reminder that spending on stuff like this is thought of as making up for giving our valuable coworkers an opportunity to pursue other endeavors. What slap in the face, to think this will soothe the anger and fear that those of us left have, to keep digging in the coal mine for them to get fat off of.
Were the cookies gluten or sugar free? No labeling on the package. We’re supposed to be a health company, yet they don’t even care to let the workers know what’s in what they’re handing out.
But, hey, free cookie; all is forgiven.

While I know it is stupid, please do not take your frustrations out on those giving out the cookies or any other events you will see and hear about. I am one of the many employees that has signed up as a PulsePoint Connection Council volunteer to organize events for employees. We are all in the same boat as you and even had a few volunteers RIFed right after signing up. We volunteer our time to plan and organize events for employees. But of course, we have rules and guidelines we have to follow. Just know we are trying our best with what we can do.
You’re kidding me! They actually gave out scoobie snacks to associates at a pulse point? WOW, how out of touch could you be?
Color me surprised that there were any cookies left to give out after Gail and Gloria had their turn.
I guess they were a "congratulations, you weren't Rif'd" cookie.
I, on the other hand was Rif'd and I would have tossed that cookie at the wall had I been there.
You guys are getting cookies?!?
I would have taken the cookies, dropped them on the floor, then immediately dropped my pants and taken a SHlT on them. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
