Well, JF knows what's best and better. The Chinese car company Xiaomi may already have a deal to design and build EV for Ford future EV.
I drive a competitor's vehicle because I don't want to waste a penny of my hard earned money on junk. If we made something of quality, I would buy it. Until then, nope.
So 'lil Jimmy thinks enough of himself that he is trying to mimic what Mullally did when he showed up to Ford.
Alan showed up driving...I believe... a Toyota and challenged the company build something better than it and he'd drive it.
We rebranded the Ford 500 to the Taurus because Alan was smart enough to understand if you once had the number one selling name plate in the country why the he-l would you abandon it.
I honestly have no idea if the 500 / Taurus was worth the platform it was built on but that was an example of a true leader who came in and challenged the status quo to do something different.
Now we've got this blithering simpleton who is "leading" us into the EV age without knowing that the true leaders of the industry AKA Toyota have been hyper focused on hydrogen vehicles.
All in all it fits right in with the Ford family's incompetence with auto manufacturing and running football teams... Well I guess Bill's sister is actually doing pretty good with the Lions
