For those that received Salary Continuation last year...was the total summation of the severance pay added into our w-2 last year... or would the payouts we received at the beginning of the year was included in our w2s this year or could we expect to them included next year....if anyone knows.

Any time you receive income it goes on that year's W2.
Was applied to your taxes when paid. ie: Some of the big payouts like PTO, bonus pro-rated, etc were all paid out in 23 so they were taxed then also. My pay went months into this year though, so all of that will be on the w2 you get at the end of '24
It depends on the year the money was received. If you got lump sum or paid bi weekly for 6 months
