My group announced return to office 5 days a week starting Jan 2025. Yikes.

“Unfortunately there will be those who only work that 30 hours which isn't even technically considered full time. (You can't count a commute as part of work time.)”
Well, I shouldn’t even have to commute anyways, so of course I’m going to roll it into my work day.
A group I work closely with was told 6 hrs Minimum 5/week.

"Why do company leaders want to make their employee lives so miserable. Our company is doing fine, we had a record bonus year during covid and probably will have good bonuses this year. Leadership needs to be replaced if they think 5 days back is the answer to any of their problems "
They're doing it to make us as miserable as possible so we'll leave and they don't have to pay out a severance. They're doing it because it is being driven from the top and Stankey is the classic Boomer mentality that he wants to get rid of. Stankey-Boomer-Work like it's 1980.
Same. We’re office workers while my AVP and few favorites are virtual.
We have an AVP that only showed up once at the office and that was to tell their team to make sure they are going to the office. Unfair yes, status quo, yes.
"Same here. Chad Townes org (Customer Service & Operations) in Enterprise business has been 5 days for some time now."
Customer Service?? Ship that sh*t offshore. We're talking about real workers here,
My customer pays for 24X7 365 support US based with a 35% margin, but still have been required to work at central office by myself after being remote for 15 years. So, I guess I am not a real worker, at least my job makes a profit for the company, not just a leach like you.

I do 5 days in office but sadly my boss does none. Bad for morale.
“Report will come out tomorrow, 30% of the manager workforce works less than 4-hours a day“
Interesting if true. Are these numbers part of the 100 million+ that was identified in that trial?
It's obviously happening. The last time we had this much smoke was before the 3 day cr-p was announced last year.
Should be interesting to see if it really happens.
There is an AVP in Dallas who does not go in 5 days therefore none of his reports do either.
“The VP directive is for 8-hour days”
What matters is what the system will flag, not their “directive”
We game the system, not follow the stupid mandate.

It’s true for some, but it’s certainly not true for all.
Count me as not notified.

It’s true.
It was announced to our team before we left for the day. Official announcement on organizational call tomorrow.
“A group I work closely with was told 6 hrs Minimum 5/week.”
How are they going to track and enforce given the unreliability of the network tracking?
Fake news, baby!
A group I work closely with was told 6 hrs Minimum 5/week.
So much for relocating, makes my choice a lot easier.
I can’t tell if people are just stupid and think this isn’t really happening or the downvotes are because they don’t like it. Maybe both? LOL
It’s unfortunately true. VPs are announcing on their own timeline but the directive has been delivered.
Just letting everyone know, multiple people are also saying this is the case on Blind as well, where you have actual accounts so you can verify it’s different posters.
Not looking good, hopefully people are planning their exits.
Does this also count for FOW or only NFTO?
Love the office can't Waite! Glad they are doing this. I guess the green new deal is off the table now that everybody will be burning fossil fuels 5 days per week.
While we haven’t been told officially, my Director told me the same today in my 1x1. We are Dallas based in HQ.
Not a fake post. Report will come out tomorrow, 30% of the manager workforce works less than 4-hours a day. JS covered that with the VP's yesterday.
ATS?
"Idk what else to add to make this "less fake". Smh."
Which VP? I think your post is BS
OP here.
We literally had a meeting called today at 2p with our group and the VP said she's submitting plans for our group to be 5 days RTO (8 hours per day min) starting the first week of Jan 2025. Idk what else to add to make this "less fake". Smh.
Just announced in my group
great news
Fake post
Consider yourself lucky. My workgroup has been mandatory 5 days for well over a year.
