Don't give money to the blood su-kers. If you have accounts with USB then close them. Make them see the results of their actions. Advise others to do the same. Spread the word that US Bank has lost all credibility and ethics. Tell others to pull they're accounts, transfer their loans and mortgage. Even if it's just a little mosquito bite of an action, MAKE THEM ITCH!

YES! Do it. It would be awesome if every single individual who was laid off pulled all of their monies from any accounts associated with USB, checking, savings, MM, CD's (after maturity of course), 401k, the works. Take it all to another financial institution of your choice. Make their charts show a little blip that makes the exec's go hmmmm?

And maybe let it skip to customers how much of their information is being provided to overseas employees in places like India. Of course, then reassure them how USB thinks this is perfectly fine and nothing to worry about.
Definitely, do it. Pull it all, maybe even let everyone in your local USB branch what's going on in the "hub" offices and that they should do the same and look for another job while their at it.
I don't think they make money on platinum checking unless you keep large balances. I plan to keep the alumni account long after leaving the bank. I love the free ATM withdrawals.
I left the bank this year, planning on rolling the 401k over after the company match hits in January. Crazy that the bank holds their match to you for the year and drops a lump sum in January. you are missing out on all that compound interest.
Accounts, 401k, everything!
I pulled all my accounts from Wells Fargo a few years ago because of the big scandal. Not going to do that again. If you change banks you will need to go with a credit union as all the big banks are doing the same thing as USB and sometimes more.
