Offshore training and meetings are starting to have a heavier presence. The RIF’s are going to continue as our CEO is not focused on what is in the best interest of our members… it is all about profit. As MA programs continue to decline in revenue (and they will continue to decline with new regulations and lawsuits) there will be a greater and greater push for offshore and AI. Which AI is needed but the company as a whole has failed miserably at keeping up with technology and platforms to better serve our processes, claim housing and the health population we serve and are now scrambling to meet the demand. To me it is simple all these middle market VP of Staffs are not necessary your Directors/SR Directors are doing the work and the Staff VP’s are just a body providing reporting to the Executive teams. This to me would be a huge cost savings initiatives.

It’s only a matter of time before the current approach with offshore teams becomes unsustainable. The lack of work-life balance and excessive hours are not conducive to long-term success.
Staff VPs in Health Solutions are bunch of a-s kisses. Not one has any skill or talent. Especially Sh@ne

VP of Staff roles are a joke and Executive staff don’t see them as true VP’s basically place holders to separate the Executive Leadership from the actual company workers. It’s a cushion role and would be first on my list to eliminate.
Total waste money! These Staff VP’s are Executive Secretaries for actual VP’s of the divisions. I can’t believe as frugal as our CEO says we need to be that these middle market positions aren’t cut. And let’s keep talking about how awful our claim platforms and tech are.
Amen. Staff VP are a waste of money. You can’t keep laying off the people who actually do the work. But then again these Staff VP are probably blowing smoke up the A$$ of the people above them.

If you have been around for 15 years or more you would know that offshore and offshore training is not new...years ago they literally sent ppl to India to train and not long after they returned laid a bunch of people off. This place is scandalous and has been for years.
America Healthcare is such a fraud. Just a complete dumpster fire. It will never get better because of greed. How the he-l is an American Health Care company allowed a "global solutions." Wtf is global solutions? This is Healthcare for Americans.
They are hiring low qualified ppl in the Philippines to do our jobs, since carelon global solutions aka ( Legato Health Technologies ) came in alot of offshoring happening .

Agree! There is allot of meetings around offshoring capabilities. The VP of Staff roles are an unnecessary use of desperately needed dollars to support infrastructure growth initiatives and could also be used to increase salaries for teams across the board. We also have way too many division separations and sales teams upselling products or services that the enterprise can’t support.

Yes!!! I don’t understand all these Staff VP roles..all they do are 1-1’s, say yes or no to things that other team members already know how to handle. The directors and the managers all do QIP/AIP with their teams. I know the VP of Staff has final review over the QIP/AIP but is it really necessary?
