If you are an hourly associate and you have missed, incorrect, or time clock malfunction punches that have NOT been corrected by management or H.R., that is a wage and hour violation. Delayed and/or incorrect pay is a wage and hour violation. Please note that according to the wage and hour division, it is NOT that employees responsibility to ensure they are being payed correctly, it is the employers, especially in the cases of missed punches, computer errors or time clock malfunctions. The biggest indicator of time theft from Belk is that time cards are only corrected by management when it’s in Belk’s favor financially. So if someone misses a break, it’s immediately adjusted, if someone forgets to clock in for a shift, managers dont fix it. Keep track of all incorrect pay from Belk and report it to your wage and hour board.

Belk also manipulated PTO time for associates so they couldn’t take it, two Texas managers have proof of this, it wouldn’t accrue properly in the computer
